Captured the surge of adrenaline as competitors launched from the beach into the open sea at the start of the Kayak Fishing International Tournament. This shot was taken right at the shoreline, where the first waves meet the paddles. Later that day, I joined the abang bomba crew on a boat to venture 4 km offshore for even closer action on the water.
